“Charles worked closely with us to develop a permaculture plan that was an excellent match with our property, goals, and needs. He has a wonderful depth and breadth of knowledge and provided us with detailed care plans, which he has continued to update. I highly recommend DeWitt Permaculture to others.”

“Two areas that I rely on feedback are the condition of the soil and the contaminants in the water source nearby the property assessed. He discovered high mercury in one lake that we had planned to use for fresh fish ... a deal breaker for me and good intel from the research feedback.”

- Dawn, Virginia

“I'm so glad that I decided to hire Charles to design my garden. I've been a mediocre gardener for years, but had just moved to a new state with a different climate, different soil, different everything. Having him plan it out gave me the confidence to dive in and transform my bland front yard of grass and boxwoods into a lush food forest. If I hadn't hired him I would still be second-guessing myself instead of enjoying fresh food and flowers.”

- Rebekah, in Suffolk, Virginia

“Charles provided a highly detailed plan that was perfect for our planned raised bed garden project. We followed his recommendations and as a result, we have a thriving green space in our center courtyard that awes building visitors and provides fresh produce to stock our food pantry. Charles was very easy to communicate with and he customized our plan based on our exact location and needs. Thanks for everything!”

- THRIVE Peninsula Food Pantry, in Newport News, Virginia

“Investing in a permaculture plan is one of the most exciting things I’ve done for my property. Charles’ direction and information has been invaluable on my path to turning my 1/2 acre into a food forest.”

- Gregory, in Petersburg, Virginia
